Many new kitchens use one color on their perimeter countertops and another on their island to give the room visual interest. A custom home we built in NC mixed a kitchen cabinet finish of medium wood stain with cabinets painted black. Then we added the black molding to the wood stained cabinets and the wood stained molding to the black painted cabinets. Remodeled kitchens don’t come in one size fits all.Image may be NSFW.
